Glenda Stirling: "A grind, but I'd do it all again..."

Glenda Stirling competed in three events at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico at the age of 16. 


Glenda reached the final and finished eighth in the 100m backstroke. She also competed in the 200m backstroke and 4 × 100m medley relay. 


At the 1970 British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, she competed in the same three events, finishing fourth in both the 100m backstroke and 4 × 100m medley relay, and sixth in the 200m backstroke.
